In magic the rule of addition of forces which does not keep within frameworks of usual arithmetics operates. So intention of one person means one unit, two - 3 units of force, and here intention of three persons - not 3 units, and already 5. Well and further 5*1=8, well and further approximately in the same spirit.
For accuracy of factor by which it is necessary to multiply quantity of the people expressing collective intention, it can not be charged, but I think, the logic from my example is clear. It already a progression.
During the Second World War when Hitler's army actively prepared for sending to England, the group of magicians of England has decided to prevent Hitler. They wished to change its opinion about prioritetnosti for Hitler directions of movement of its armies. The purpose was to force Hitler to refuse occupation of territory of England and to force it to throw the armies to Russia.
The season was cold enough, but they have entered into water, have joined hands and have spent any magic ritual. Soon after that their "recipient" has changed the decisions... What exactly they have made, I think precisely anybody but only after that, Hitler has given the order to the armies instead of occupation of England does not know to move towards Russia.
Probably, magic ritual of English magicians also was not the main reason of its such decision, we of it already never learn. But the fact of attempt of such magic influence, it is wide enough a known thing about which it was very much written by different authors.
I think, English magicians used that time telepathy and collective intention, and they have knowingly made it group, have united in a force circle, having joined hands, and used cold water as the means stimulating expression of strong intention. These magicians, similar, perfectly knew about principles which allow to express intention effectively.
Intention a thing in general mysterious, therefore about it to tell about its displays easier. The best way - to result simple examples of how intention works. Now I wish to add history above and to tell on a living example from my life about how collective intention works.
Once (almost in last life), I worked at the large industrial enterprise. Work was physical, very heavy and as it was called earlier, «in adverse conditions». We worked on the original conveyor, in the conditions of a strong dust content and temperature of an order 55-60 ºC.
Footwear soles sometimes simply started to smoke, therefore it was necessary to throw thick packs of the big sheets of a usual brown paper under feet... The Overalls were wet from sweat simply always, removing, it could be unscrewed. In general, approximately so it is possible for itself to present a hell to versions "lajt".
Thus the payment was almost indecently high to average measures and practically time. I.e. it was not important, how many you will really make, but to squeeze out of you tried all possible. Sometimes it was almost on the verge of physically possible, quite seriously.
It is clear, that in such situation, anybody especially was not torn behind awards. At the slightest possibility, we, and it is a brigade from five persons, tried «to jump off from this business» and to depart somewhere where was more cool... The Body demanded though minute of rest...
So the person is arranged, there is no powerful stimulus - there is no also an adequate return. And even the award in 100 % it is simply impossible to force to plough the person on the verge of consciousness loss... As from a heat, even sometimes there were easy glitches and the roof went...
Work to us "came" through one powerful unit, a pusher of cars which approximately 2-3 times in change broke, and more often simply forced a trolley to be derailed. Breakage usually corrected approximately for half an hour-hours. For us, especially by the change end, this time was such desired, that simply copyist...
When we absolutely got tired and were already practically cut down, we not arranging, amicably dreamt that this will break most «gadsky the unit» which delivered us work or the trolley will be derailed. And here somehow time, my fellow workers have noticed such strange thing...
And so, if someone from us gave out any strong and emotional three-storyed phrase, in a normal equivalent of Russian meaning something of type «when, sexually dismissed woman, will break this bad car conducting immoral obrazzhizni!!!» Or «shob this bad, extremely sexually dismissed trolley was derailed!!!», and all of us amicably supported it, breakages occurred essentially more often, practically always...
Someone from us has offered, for laughter, as experiment, to try to make it specially. Simply amicably and «with feeling» to wish, that the unit has broken to "some mother" :), and the trolley in general "to the traditional address" was derailed. Strange, but it has turned out. And it has turned out both in the first, and in the second, and in third time...
Then at us it began to turn out with one trolley, it simply slid on rails and on a joint simply took off from a track. We tried to do it on a joint then the probability of a successful outcome of event strongly grew.
In normal "usual" conditions, probability of that the multiton trolley can be derailed simply disappearing is small... So the problem at us was not the most simple...
Then we could to deduce a certain law, in due course. Our trick went right with probability close to 100 % only in the presence of several conditions:
- The consent of all members of a brigade
- Conscious participation of everyone during the moment when we expressed collective intention
- It became only once for change, it is obvious this force was spent for expression of intention and it was necessary "to fill up its stocks".
- We should want not simply, namely passionately wish and namerevat the event necessary to us.
We any more did not devote anybody in our small secret. But through time, even other our fellow workers who on service had to be engaged in "liquidation of consequences of our magic activity», too have noticed strange law of breakages of a pusher and a convergence from trolley rails, and also its communication with that, how much we have got tired.
That rule how to express collective intention which managed experimental to be deduced by to our brigade, worked practically always, I think them it is possible to use with much bigger advantage, than it was done by us.
Remember history described above? Imho, these two histories very much similarly describe one and too the phenomenon - collective intention. In them there are general moments.

About intention I heard that such probably but in practice did not test. Interesting experience.
And in general in a life it is called effect of a synergy. When efforts of a two are equal not 2 and to four, for example. Or it is noticed in the physicist or chemistry that when some processes proceed in parallel the current of each process is accelerated in times.
When the group of people is united by the general idea those their efforts are repeatedly multiplied also result comes essentially earlier.
